Migralux FL-41 Light Sensitivity Glasses
Built for eyes that can't handle harsh light
Migralux lenses use FL-41, a specific rose-tint filter developed for people who live with migraine, photophobia, and chronic light sensitivity — not another pair of generic "blue light" glasses.
What FL-41 actually does
FL-41 is engineered to filter light most heavily in the 480–510nm blue-green band — the range research has repeatedly linked to light-triggered discomfort in migraine and photophobia. Every Migralux lens is lab-tested to ISO 12312-1, AS/NZS 1067.1, and ANSI Z80.3 standards, with an independent transmittance report available on request.
The research behind the tint
- A study in Headache (Good, Taylor & Mortimer, 1991) found FL-41-tinted lenses reduced headache frequency in children with migraine compared to standard grey lenses.
- A study in Ophthalmology (Blackburn et al., 2009) found FL-41 tint improved light sensitivity and blink frequency in patients with light-triggered eye conditions.
